Alyssa Kanaley

Alyssa recently completed two years in Nagasaki Prefecture as an Assistant Language Teacher and Prefectural Advisor through the JET Programme, fostering cross-cultural exchange at the local level. She holds a Bachelor of International Studies, majoring in Japanese Studies from Macquarie University (2024), including an exchange at Waseda University, and is a recipient of the New Colombo Plan Scholarship. Alyssa is passionate about strengthening Australia-Japan relations and aspires to a career in international affairs. At ANZCCJ, she looks forward to deepening her engagement with Asia-Pacific partnerships, building meaningful professional connections, and gaining practical insights into the evolving Australia-Japan economic and diplomatic landscape.
