Kyoko Elizabeth Horikawa

Kyoko is a final-year undergraduate student at Waseda University’s School of International Liberal Studies, majoring in history and religion with a focus on international relations. She has a strong interest in Japan–Australia relations, particularly in how this relationship has developed historically and culturally, and has developed her analytical and research skills through her academic work. Having grown up in both Japan and Australia, and having completed a year abroad in Vancouver, Canada, Kyoko is passionate about fostering cross-cultural understanding and is eager to contribute to strengthening international engagement between Japan and Australia.
